“All you are is change, change is all you are” – John Overdurf

A note from Monique:

“Many people are bound down by their past or realise that they have a block to realising their full potential, be it in relationships, business, personal life or any other form of emotional baggage. Is that you? Sometimes it is unrecognisable and just doesn’t feel right. As a therapist I’m of the opinion that you cannot change the past but you can use your experiences to become wiser and therefor create a better future. This form of change I define as ‘seeing the same things differently’. By using new techniques available these changes can be achieved very fast. I see the subconscious as a DVD player. When you are playing a DVD you do not like it is my task to remove that DVD and replace it with a DVD you do enjoy. Most therapies involve talking about the DVD you do not like, trying to rationalise it or trying to help you to accept or even appreciate that DVD. My approach is very different. It’s not about learning to deal with old baggage but to eliminate and remove the baggage you no longer want and to teach you how it will stay away. Most of the time the work is done content-free, meaning you don't need to tell what the old baggage entails, to go through it again. This is a big advantage compared to traditional therapies. Would you like to have your old baggage removed?”
